Can I transfer my TPE purchase between Android and iOS?

No. The Photographer’s Ephemeris purchases cannot be transferred between Google Play and Apple’s App Store.

Although TPE for Android and TPE for iOS provide many of the same planning tools, they are separate products developed and maintained for different platforms. Purchases are also managed independently by Google Play and Apple’s App Store. Neither store provides a way for us to convert a purchase made through one store into ownership of the app on the other platform.

Transferring TPE from Android to iOS

If you purchased TPE for Android and would like to use TPE on an iPhone or iPad, you will need to purchase TPE for iOS separately.

Transferring TPE from iOS to Android

TPE for Android is no longer available for new purchases. Therefore, an iOS purchase cannot be transferred or converted into access to the Android app.

Installing TPE on another device with the same operating system

Installing the app on another device using the same operating system is different from transferring a purchase between Android and iOS.

If you previously purchased TPE and want to reinstall it or install it on another device, you may not need to purchase it again. The app store account originally used to purchase the app will determine whether you can download it again.
